Crochet Patchwork Doily quilt

I made this quilt over the winter and totally forgot to share it with you. I had first seen this on Dotty Angel. If anyone every had to read an about page on anyone, it's got to be hers. After reading it , I fell in love with her instantly. It's a must read

It's made in block strips and joined together. I used some of the doily that I have been collecting for awhile and stitched them on. You can find a detailed description on how to do this project on her website. This was actually the first quilt I ever made for myself and I will love it forever. I keep it draped on our recliner so I can see it daily. It just make me smile.
