Movies to Snuggle Up To...Family Classics
Father of the Bride
Princess Bride
Goonies
Never ending story
These truly are classics. I know I've watched these with my kids at least once and we never get sick of them. I'm kinda bummed that father of the bride is no longer on netflix. I guess I'm going to have to buy it. I love when Steve Martin sings what's new pussy cat in his obviously too small tux. I die laughing every time. What are your family favorites?

Movies to Snuggle up to...Netflix Pics
call of the midwife
This heartwarming show follows the daily lives of midwifes and the circumstances that they bring babies into the world. The characters are lovable and I find it so interesting how they did things back then. Prepare yourself, there are some tear jerkers.
bomb girls
I always seen pictures of Rosie the Riveter but never knew anything about who she was or the kind of work she did. Plenty of drama in this one and you will learn a little history to boot.
Populaire
I recently watched this movie after seeing so many of my fellow instagramers posting on it. The styling is awesome and it is a great story. This was one that I waited till the kids went to bed and watched on my tablet with my head phones on because it's all subtitles which I'm usually turn off from but this one was worth it.
And last but not least, Penelope.
I love Christina Ricci. This movie is just magical. I'm so glad they added it to netflix. I just watched it again last night and my daughter just loved it.
If you have some alone time and want a series or movie to get wrapped up in then these are for you.
Have a great weekend.

Movies to Snuggle up to.... Quirky Flicks
via You either love or hate this one. But how can you go wrong with Jack Black in stretchy pants. |
via Of course this is one of my favorites. I can't not watch this movie and not laugh. I think I posted once that I wish I could dance like him. I especially wish I had a pair of those sweet moon boots. |
Moonrise Kingdom
I just saw this movie this week and totally fell in love. Its fun and definitely quirky. The music reminded me of the fantastic Mr. fox and all the character's and their style just makes me smile. I will be owning this one.
via Juno I love this scene because I too owned a hamburger phone. There are so many funny lines in this movie, my favorite is when the dad say "I'm gonna punch that bleaker kid in the Weiner". Awesome movie. If you haven't seen some of these then you need to run to your local movie store and pick one up. Your definitely in for a good laugh. Have a great weekend. Rachel |

Movie's to Snuggle up to... Feel Good Movies
Now that the weather has cooled down and were all drinking hot chocolate by the fire, I thought I would do a little series for the next couple of weeks about some of my favorite movies that I can watch time and again, because I'm one of those people that gets attached to a movie and watch them more than once or twice or let's be honest, it's more than that. Some you might not know and some you might just have forgotten about. Either way I hope you enjoy.
CHOCOLATE Johnny Depp, oh my. His sexiest roll of all time. |
SPANGLISH love this one.... All about a love that can never be. Too sweet. |
