DIY- Painted Wood Bead Necklace
I love this color combination. I was actually inspired by a skirt pattern that I had and that had me running to the craft store to find similar colors. I actually already had the bead, that were in my kids craft collection. I used light wood beads mixed with dark wood beads. I used joann's brand of paint and a clear glaze to finish them. I found it best to string them on wire and paint them. I let them dry completely before painting on the glaze. I used leather cord to string them on and used the hardware that was provided with it as my clasp. It was a fun and quick project that you can personalize any way you like. Have fun making your own and if you have any questions, please leave your comments below.
