Weekend Wrap Up

We had a busy and fun filled weekend. I started by hanging out with my mom and sister at the thrift store and book store friday night. Which is always fun. On Saturday, it was another beautiful day. My husband treated me to lunch at the range. The burgers were awesome. Mine was an espresso crusted beef burger with apples, blue cheese & bacon yum! And my husband had an asian duck burger. Both were awesome. Along with our burgers we had shakes, both had alcohol in them . mine had cinnamon ice cream and cinnamon spirits. So good. And my man had a bacon shake, can't remember the liquor in it but it was delicious.

After that we went to Penzie's Spice Store so I could get some lavender for a chicken recipe from the new cookbook i won. It was my first time going there and it was awesome. After that we stopped by a coffee shop for a mocha and blackberry scone for tomorrow's breakfast and I ran to take my daughter to her guitar band session and then dinner and bonfire at our friends house.

Sunday was quite productive. I was able to clean out my little fish pond and was happy tho see that Goldie had made it thru the winter and I got my garden de-weeded and ready for planting. Then enjoyed the rest of the evening outside with my husband and cousin, just drinking a few cold ones. I say that like I drink regular beers. Mine were limaritas. I know its as chick beer, don't judge. How was your weekend?
