Lately...

What a busy summer full of training our new puppy, quiting my job and working for our family buiness, and helping my husband recover from back surgery. We did find time for fun stuff too. Weekend boating and a fun family vacation to florida.  Now that summer is winding down, I'm looking forward to cool evenings, bonfires and wearing sweaters. I do have a couple of posts to share with you and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things on here. I hope you all had a great summer.

$1 Curtains

Has anyone else ever seen such a thing? When I purchased it, I assumed it was a plastic table cloth. I was drawn by the beautiful print so I just snagged it. Upon closer inspection I realized that it was actually curtains. For a buck, I just couldn't pass it up. And they went perfectly in my studio. Will I keep them up forever? Probably not, but they were a cheap thrill so I will keep them up till I get tired of them and then repurpose them into something else. What quirky items have you found at the thrift store lately?

Meet Dotty

It's official, we are beagle people.  We tried for a year with our Pomeranian but she just wasn't for us. So after finding her the perfect home with our groomers sister, we were on the hunt for our perfect furry friend.  It has always been my dream to find a pet at our local shelter but after looking on line for weeks, I was starting to give up hope, until I saw this little girl on pet finder and fell in love. She was found as a stray and was a young female of 4 months old, which is just what we were looking for. After a couple of weeks, she has fit in perfectly with our family and sleeps with my daughter every night. If you are looking for your own furry friend, I would highly recommend  checking out your animal shelter. There are so many pets needing a loving home. We are so happy we found

Today is for crochet

I just got my new book in the mail and I couldn't be more pleased. There's so many projects I want to do from this book, I can't wait to share them with you all.

Have a great weekend
